El Jalapeno A Mexican Restaurant in Humble Tx

El Jalapeno Mexican Cafe is a restaurant in Humble, Texas found just off the FM 1960 East at the street number 5324. My wife and I recently visited this restaurant and found that they served excellent food. The two of us ordered Fajitas and I would have to say that the spices used on the chicken and beef were perfect. In addition the wait staff was very friendly and our glasses were never empty.

My Wife’s Review

Today I enjoyed a wonderful meal of the traditional homemade chips and salsa to start that was followed by beef and chicken fajitas with a mango margarita, and flan for desert at the El Jalapeno Mexican Cafe. It was very apparent by the smell and texture of the food that it was made with fresh ingredients. The tortillas were warmed, the guacamole and pico de gallo was fresh with just the right amount of seasonings, the meat sizzled and was real meat not the processed chicken and beef that is sometimes found at restaurants today, all combined with a festive, family-fun atmosphere. I plan to revisit this welcoming restaurant in the near future during their Saturday night karaoke from 7-11pm.

Hector’s Mexican Restaurant is located at 3333 FM 1960 E in Humble Texas. My family and I recently visited this Humble restaurant and found the food fantastic. We ordered the family style fajitas for three served with marinated pork, beef, chicken and shrimp. Not only was this plenty of food for three it was more than we could eat. I would strongly suggest this establishment to any and everyone seeking excellent Mexican eats. Below you can find reviews made by both my wife and my 14 year old nephew.

More than enough food. My husband’s a big guy, so having enough food to eat when we go out is really important. Hector’s restaurant provided a meal, so large that with3 big eaters, we still had enough food to take home 2 large food containers. We ordered a family meal that had enough variety to satisfy all of us. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is excellent. For myself, I ordered a mango margarita that was one of the best that I have had short of being in Mexico.

When I went to Hector’s restaurant to eat, I had a good time. It was fun and fulfilling. The restaurant had a clearly Mexican atmosphere. It had beautiful paintings of Mexico and other decorations. Also, it has a cool outside part that is covered so you could eat in the rain, but is still open enough that you still feel like you are outside. It has good smells as they cook. The bathroom didn’t smell bad and was very clean too. When we came in we got free chips and salsa, and my drink tasted good. The waiters were very nice, and we didn’t have to wait very long for our food. When we got our food, it was huge. When we were done, it was big, and the food was good. So all in all, it was a great restaurant.
